Large Tender "Delivery Partner"
Bidding for and winning major infrastructure tenders is a complex mix of the right technical offering and the demonstration of seamlessly aligned, high performance teamwork. Clients need to see more than the engineering solution and costs. They need to see inspired, energised, cohesive and imaginative alliance teams that show a deep understanding of the clients needs.
Start Close in...has proven experience helping alliance teams bid for and win major works, as well as defining and sustaining a high performance culture once the project commences and they enter the pressure cooker of delivery.
Leadership Development
A semi-government client who manages a critical pillar of NSW commerce and trade, engaged us to design their leadership development framework and then roll out critical leadership skills to the entire executive, senior and middle band leadership cohort.
This was a powerful, multi year engagement involving cultural research, alignment of leadership strategy with L&D, learning design, workshop facilitation and coaching. This program resulted in the formation of a Senior Leadership cohort, the promotion of several leaders to new senior positions and an increase in overall organisational engagement results.
Executive Team Facilitation
We have ongoing, long term engagements with leadership teams in which we support the team through a challenging process of review, reflection, growth and vision setting.
Once we understand and connect with the broader organisational culture, we often become trusted partners called in to work with other internal teams facing challenge or complexity. We provide world class facilitation, deep insight that enables transformation and a guarantee of a shift in team dynamics.
Our programs often couple team dynamic work with the confidential space of coaching in order to support parallel personal growth at the same time as collective team transformation.
As a sample, we have worked with the executive team of one of Australia'a largest mining companies, a global testing and certification company as well as the Country Fire Authority and the Metropolitan Fire Brigade (now Fire Rescue Victoria).
Creating Space to Tackle Complexity
We have a proven track record of helping organisations, communities and departments face into complex issues. We have worked in the public sector helping environmental and health agencies untangle their vision and strategy. We have worked with leadership teams in complex, highly industrialised environments. We have shaped multi-workshop interventions to help groups chart the future of the sector they are in, right down to pro-bono work mapping the vision and strategy for a local school or child care centre.
